Is a hand car wash better than an automatic wash?
For your paint, yes. Automatic brushes drag grit from other cars across your finish, which is the main cause of swirl marks. Everything at West Coast Wash is washed by hand with fresh media, so grit never grinds into your clear coat. It's the biggest difference between paint that stays swirl-free and paint that needs correction.
How often should you get your car detailed?

What's the difference between a wash and a detail?
A hand wash cleans your car's surface in 20 to 45 minutes. A detail is a deep restoration, cleaning, decontaminating, polishing, and protecting every surface over several hours. As our team puts it: 45 minutes gets you clean, 3 hours gets you detailed.
Is ceramic coating worth it?
For most owners, yes. Ceramic coating bonds to your paint as a water-beading layer that repels road salt, rain, tree sap, and UV, making your car far easier to keep clean and protecting resale value. Our professional graphene coating lasts up to 5 years, versus 1 to 2 years for DIY kits.

Do you offer mobile detailing?
We're a fixed-location shop, which lets us use industrial equipment and hoists no mobile detailer can bring to a driveway. But with R-Plate licensed pickup and delivery, we can collect your car and return it detailed.
